It has been another outstanding year for students at Cheadle Hulme High School.

The 2017 GCSE results saw 83% of students achieving standard passes in English and mathematics, with an impressive 68% attaining the new gold standard of a grade 5+ in both English and mathematics. This puts the school at the top of the tables in Stockport.

A stellar 40% of exam entries were graded at an A*/A/9/8/7

25 students (10%) gained a grade 9 in maths.
36 students (14%) gained a grade 9 in English.

Particular congratulations go to the:

  • 100 (39%) students achieving 5 or more A*/A/9/8/7 grades
  • 50 (19%) students who achieved 8 or more A*/A/9/8/7 grades
  • 40 students who got straight A*/A/9/8/7

Pictured are Clara, Millie, Ben, Lewis and Alicia who are just a few of our students who achieved grade 9s in both English and mathematics.
