Last week saw the first ever virtual National Careers Week and although students were accessing the information remotely, we can safely say it was incredibly successful for Laurus Trust schools.
Students logged on from home to attend the national virtual careers fair featuring organisations such as NatWest, the NHS and the BBC and we also received video messages from a number of special guests who shared their wisdom and advice directly with Laurus Trust students.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to ex-Manchester City footballer Micah Richards, sports presenter and broadcaster Nicola McCarthy, businessman Nick Bianchi, photographer Victoria Haydn and physiotherapist Lee Nobes for taking the time to offer their insights and experiences and helping to make National Careers Week such a success.
