World Mental Health Day

For World Mental Health Day, across the trust, we organised different events to be able to raise money and also so we can make sure everyone across the trust knows they are supported and reminded of the importance of mental health.

Different Events were held across the Trust schools where staff fundraised taking part in different activities.

At Cheadle Hulme High School the food technology department hosted a ‘Bake a Difference’ event, green ribbons were made and sold and the PE department wore green to represent the World Mental Health Day colour scheme.

Laurus Ryecroft and Priestnall School hosted a staff breakfast, where staff from different departments, could socialise and get to know new people.

Laurus Cheadle Hulme hosted a Tea & Talk event for staff so they can talk about mental health over a brew and biscuits with colleagues.

If you are a member of staff at the Laurus Trust, and feel like you need support or need someone to talk to, please visit our HR Hub.
