The Laurus Trust has been shortlisted for the 2023 Wellbeing Trust of the Year award.

 

The Trust have emphasised students are at the heart of everything they do, every decision they make and every action they take.

 

Which means it is essential to ensure all staff work in an environment where they feel highly valued and well supported.

 

Staff wellbeing is one of the top priorities of the Trust Leadership Team with ambitions to become an employer of choice, having a healthier and more inclusive workforce, having increased staff morale and engagement and ensuring that leaders and managers have the confidence and skills to lead effectively on staff wellbeing.

 

Some of the ways the Trust fulfils their staff wellbeing goal is through providing mental health awareness training, employee assistance programmes, cycle to work scheme, subsidised gym memberships, mental health first aiders, workplaces coaches and flexible working.

 

The Trust continues to improve and enhance their wellbeing offer and include the ideas of teaching and support staff to create an offer which supports all job roles.
