At the Laurus Trust, we believe in the power of music to inspire and transform. Through a rich programme of ensembles, choirs and performance opportunities, led by skilled and dedicated practitioners, we give every young person the chance to grow as a musician and performer.
Laurus Live is our annual showcase and one of the highlights of the Trust calendar. Each year, hundreds of performers from across our schools come together in a celebration of talent, community and musical excellence – an unforgettable experience for performers and audiences alike.
It consistently draws capacity crowds and continues to grow in both scale and ambition. Recent concerts have featured jazz and popular music showcases, steel band performances and, for the first time, involvement from our primary schools.
Our aim is to create even more Trust-wide performances that challenge our students, broaden their ambitions and shine a spotlight on their musical achievements.
